Turquoise

Supplies:  potato cubes, the sun, newspaper, spray paint, ribbon

Directions:  Diann W. e-mailed me and informed me of the process to make these.  Fascinating!  

Thanks, Diann!  Here's what she wrote:

 "Cube your potatoes about 1-inch.  Put them on cookie sheets.  Put them outside on very hot day. 

By evening they were pretty dry but we put them out the next day too. 

Yes some turned black, but then you spray paint them! 
We used newspaper underneath and sprayed them with turquoise spray paint. 

If the black shows through or it picks up newspaper ink - it looks like veining in
the turquoise!"
